this is a powerful post, TQ! time for some ramblings:

a truly good leader is able to not only push those who are loyal even further towards the goal, but also to convince those who are in doubt or contrarian to go along with the others' plans and actions. such a leader would value transparency, integrity and, ultimately, accountability.

meanwhile history has shown that any form of authoritarianism will eventually become opposed, either by some or by many. any well-functioning social system is able to incorporate dissenting voices, perhaps even by adjusting the ultimate ideal, because a one-size-fits-all approach is doomed to fail. we might be similar, but we're not the same. GB
