I've always been a fan of giving to charitable organizations, even if I've been the type of person who is on the receiving end of charity giving rather than being able to give myself. Despite that, I'm going to provide a portion of what I make from paid subscribers (most likely 10%) above what I need to survive, to a charitable cause of some kind. I'm also open to collaborating with my subscribers to finding different charities to give to.
In addition to this, I'm going to work on providing extra value to my paid subscribers. The two aspects that I've been working on is releasing a list of the pieces I've written and allowing people to vote on which one they want released for early access. The second one is creating a how to guide on creating a moral philosophy for fiction. Where to start, how to build it, and then what it takes to apply it logically into a story.
I'll be creating sections for each idea in case you want to subscribe specifically to that aspect of it.
Finally, I do some fiction writing where I apply these ideas and will be putting up eventually. Would anyone be interested in reading it? I could make that part of the opportunity for paid subscribers.
Similarly, I’m writing a non-fiction book about CoVid where I apply some of the thinking around moral philosophy and look deeper into things. Let me know if either option looks good to you.
They do a tremendous amount of work to help pugs find forever homes and get them medical treatment when needed. Likewise, 10% of my donations go to them 🤗.
A charity that I support is: Pug Nation Rescue of L.A. https://www.pugnationla.org/home/
It is where I adopted my beautiful pug, Daisy, from:
