It was only 3 months ago in June that I hit the 50 subscriber mark. Now I just got an email from Substack confirming that I've hit 100 subscribers. It's hard to say how much it means to me that the newsletter has grown that much in such a short amount of time.
I started this newsletter in February 2021 and it took me over a year to reach the 50 mark. I guess that means I'm doing something right? I hadn't really planned on reaching this so quickly so I didn't plan anything as a celebration. If you have any suggestions, I'm happy to hear what you think I should do.
I'm making progress on my non-fiction book about CoVid tackling many of the philosophical errors made during it all. Perhaps by the end of the year I'll be open to having people read it. I've been thinking about writing pieces about The Walking Dead and a movie called Blindness as part of what would officially announce the book, since both deal with an viral outbreak of some kind. So if you see those coming up, the book is likely on its way. It will have a separate Substack for consistency.
Additionally, I'll be releasing my first exclusively paid post here called How to: Avoid the Trope of “Write What You Know”. As well as some of my own fiction to show how I apply things like moral philosophy I've covered here in a separate Substack.
Finally, I have a comic book that I've been working on for the past 10 years that may finally be ready for people. All of which is probably going to be available by the end of year if all goes according to plan.
Again, thank you for caring enough to subscribe and get me to 100 subscribers. I can't wait to see how things go for the next 100.
Congratulations and best wishes for your continued success! It sounds like you have some interesting projects in the works. I look forward to seeing what comes next!
