Poll: Would you respond to a survey?

Looking for feedback on how to improve.

Hey everyone,

With the beginning of a fourth year of my writing on Substack coming up in February, I’m looking to find ways to improve. I haven’t been one to do things like surveys, but I’d love to get more details about what I can do to encourage people to engage more. Something I may even do is take the words someone says in a response, minus their name if they don’t want to be identified, post it as a poll and ask people to vote on whether they agree with it or not.

Examples of questions that will be asked include:

• What made you want to subscribe?

• What keeps you coming back?

• What would make you want to become a paying subscriber?

• Are there things which were published for free that you would’ve paid for if it were exclusive?

Along with some other questions about some ideas I have for the future.

The point of it being a survey obviously being that you don’t have to put in the comments for anyone to see and criticize.
