Newsletter Update: A Soft Launch and a Hard Launch
tvphilosophy.substack.com
Hey everyone,
So, I am feeling good about how things are progressing here. I celebrated hitting 100 subscribers at the end of August and now I've hit 125. It's incredibly gratifying to know that you're so interested in what I'm doing.
To that end, I felt the need to give an update. Giving it more thought, I will be doing a soft launch and a hard launch of the other works I have planned. The soft launch is for the CoVid book and a hard launch for my comic book. It's dependent a bit on how well we do here though.
If I can make it to 150 subscribers by the end of the year, I will do these launches. So what exactly does this mean?
The soft launch will be offering subscribers who are interested in the CoVid book private access to it. Meaning that only people I personally add to the subscriber list will have access to the Substack for the book. That way I can get feedback from a select group on things, offering suggestions and ideas on how to expand. Currently the book has a few solid chapters that could be improved and some that aren't quite ready yet.
The hard launch will be for the comic book which is technically available now and a few of people have already become subscribers. I will be publishing a few details of how that's going to work soon on the main platform for it. If you’d like to understand the premise of the comic book, I would encourage you to read my piece about Quantum Leap and Setting the Wrong Things Right. It’s very much outlining the general philosophy for the comic with a bit of an absurdist take.
If you'd like to be a part of the CoVid book, I encourage you to leave a comment below. Currently I know of at least one subscriber but I think a few people have come here because of comments I've made elsewhere on Substack. But as I said, it all depends on how well we're doing here with this Substack.
