I'm not sure the feeling can't last. What makes it so euphoric isn't a lack of everyday circumstances. It's the addition of curiosity and willingness to be totally present with your lover. I believe that if we remain who we were being, we can continue in the same way. Maybe growing a little wiser, but not less in love, as it were.

It seems what changes is that people sort of put the lover in "business as usual" status. So that they don't appreciate each other unless they need them. It's my theory that people can avoid doing that. Though we do have lives to lead, taking precious moments to be present together, can give it a magical quality that doesn't have to diminish with time and circumstances. Maybe I'm just a hopeful romantic 😉

Nothing wrong with being a hopeful romantic. You have to be in order to find someone to love and build a life with.

Yes, I believe that's true. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I have heard much cynicism around this topic,so it's a breath of fresh air 😀

I'm glad you thought it was so interesting. You'll probably appreciate the next one as well. However, I try to be as broad as possible in my perspectives. I have written about more cynical things and ideas, but it's not necessarily my view.

Understood I can be quite cynical in certain spheres. I look forward to reading more.
