And one big thing about the loss of innocence - grief is intimately tied up there.
[and there are several losses over time]
RIVERDALE comes from one of the more knowingly innocent properties out there - the Archie comics.
They were there to make an ideal and to sell it.
And things about grief:
When the loss is permanent and pervasive
versus when it is likely to grow back [like hair and teeth and even some forms of innocence and trust].
Turns out I did watch RIVERDALE a few years ago when it was first on Netflix.
Really focused on their musical lives and a bit on their school lives and how they were living out in the world - the main four: Archie; Veronica; Betty and Jughead.
Thank you for the vote, although now I’m running into the same problem that I had before. It’s tied up with one day to go. Meaning that it’s somewhat unclear what is going to win.
Have to vote for neither.
Why’s that?
Well, I have no idea what either is. So, actually, you could write about either or both. That way, I'd know.
Okay, well perhaps the idea of innocence versus grief? Is there one that you gravitate more towards?
Innocence.
You could potentially vote for that one then. If that’s where you gravitate.
Okay. Thanks.
Oooo.... I LOVED iZombie back in the day. (I need to finish up the series.) Subscribing to make sure I catch the post.
I have written a few pieces about iZombie in the past if you need something in the meantime to tide you over. Or motivations to try and finish it.
There’s one series that I will be releasing between now and the iZombie deep dive. Just so you’re aware.
Checking I had watched up to S4. I really should finish up the last season sometime.
You should. It’s a solid final season for the show. Though fans can have mixed feelings about it.
By the way, as a subscriber, I would love to get you to vote on the current poll above. Assuming you haven’t already.
I was trying to remember and I'm legit torn as I never watched either except a bit ironically...
Well maybe consider it from the perspective of what it’s about. Grief versus innocence. Which do you think would be more interesting as a deep dive?
Voted for VAMPIRE DIARIES and Grief.
